1. About Tirelab
Tirelab is an independent fan project providing tools for exploring motorsport timing data, visualizations, and analysis. “Tirelab,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the independent operator of this website. By using Tirelab, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the website.
Tirelab is not affiliated, associated, authorized, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with Formula 1, Formula One, F1, or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates. The official Formula 1 website is available at https://www.formula1.com/.
F1, FORMULA ONE, FORMULA 1, FIA FORMULA ONE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP, and related marks are trademarks of Formula One Licensing BV. Tirelab’s visualizations and analysis are unofficial and are not licensed by Formula 1.
2. Data and analysis
Tirelab uses third-party data, including data provided by OpenF1. Availability, completeness, and accuracy can vary between events and sessions.
Some information is displayed as recorded by a provider. Other information—including estimates, reconstructed gaps, rankings, trends, and comparisons—is calculated by Tirelab. Calculations may depend on assumptions, filtering, interpolation, or incomplete records.
Data may contain errors, conflicting records, omissions, or delays. Cached information may remain visible while updated information is retrieved. Warnings identify some known limitations, but their absence does not guarantee accuracy.
Tirelab is provided for general information and personal analysis. Independently verify information before relying on it for consequential decisions.
3. Acceptable use
You may use Tirelab for lawful purposes. You must not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with operation, deliberately overload services, bypass security controls or rate limits, use automated requests that disrupt Tirelab or its providers, or infringe another person’s rights.
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the website, its users, or its providers.
4. Ownership and third-party material
Tirelab’s original branding, interface, code, and original written material belong to their respective rights holders. Racing data, team and driver names, trademarks, recordings, and other third-party material remain subject to their owners’ rights and applicable provider terms.
Viewing or exporting information does not grant ownership of third-party material or permission beyond rights otherwise available to you. Please retain attribution included in exported graphics.
5. Optional support payments
Supporting Tirelab is voluntary. Payment is not required to use publicly available features.
Support payments are one-time contributions processed through Stripe. They do not create a subscription, purchase additional features, or guarantee particular updates, continued availability, or future development. Contributions are not represented as tax-deductible charitable donations.
Amounts are shown in US dollars. Your bank or payment provider may apply currency-conversion or other charges under its own terms. Only pay if authorized to use the payment method. If below the age of legal adulthood where you live, obtain a parent or guardian’s permission before paying.
6. Refunds
Support payments are voluntary and are generally nonrefundable, except where required by applicable law.
If you believe a payment was unauthorized, processed incorrectly, or is otherwise subject to a refund required by law, contact [email protected]. Include the email used at checkout, payment date, amount and currency, and receipt number if available. Never send your full card number, security code, account password, or other sensitive payment credentials.
If we choose to issue a discretionary refund, the amount returned may be reduced by the actual payment-processing fees that the payment provider does not return, but only where permitted by applicable law and payment-provider rules. We may choose to cover those fees instead. We will disclose any proposed deduction before processing the refund. We do not charge an additional administrative fee. No deduction will be made where a full refund is required by law.
Any refund issued will be returned to the original payment method. Your bank and payment provider determine when the credit appears. Nothing in this policy limits rights or protections that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
7. Third-party services and links
Tirelab relies on third-party services for hosting, data delivery, and payment processing. They may have their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control third-party websites or services and cannot guarantee their availability or accuracy. A link does not imply endorsement.
8. Availability and changes
We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or a particular level of availability. Where practical, we will communicate significant changes affecting support payments or the handling of personal information.
9. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Tirelab is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties concerning accuracy, reliability, availability, or suitability for a particular purpose.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from using, or being unable to use, Tirelab. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability, consumer protections, or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
10. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how information is processed when you use Tirelab, contact us, or make a support payment.
11. Changes to these terms
Updated terms will be posted here with a revised effective date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice of material changes. Changes will not remove rights already applicable to a completed payment.
